General Data Protection Law
What is LGPD?
LGPD (General Data Protection Law) is a Brazilian law that deals with the protection of personal data and came into force in September 2020. Its main objective is to establish guidelines and rules for the processing of personal information by public and private organizations, protecting the privacy and rights of individuals in relation to their data.
To ensure the security and privacy of its data, Algar Tech has invested in adapting its internal processes, policies and tools, with the aim of guaranteeing the protection of the fundamental rights of privacy and freedom of individuals in relation to the processing of their personal data.
Data Subject Rights
Confirmation of Processing
You have the right to confirm whether we, as Controller, process your personal data.
Access to Data
You can request information about the processing of your personal data carried out by us within the limits provided by the LGPD.
Data correction
You can request the correction of your data that is out of date, incomplete or inaccurate.
Anonymization, blocking or deletion of data
In accordance with the LGPD, whenever possible, your personal data may be anonymized, i.e. processed in such a way that you cannot be identified. You also have the right to have incorrect or incomplete personal data corrected and, if the personal data is not required to be kept by law, you have the right to request its deletion.
Portability
You may request the portability of your personal data at any time, within the limits established by the LGPD.
Revocation of personal data processed with consent
You can revoke your consent to the processing of your data at any time, expressly, free of charge and with ease. Revocation may occur if there are changes in the purpose, form or duration of the processing of personal data, and if such changes are not compatible with the original consent.

You have the right to know with which entities Algar Tech shares your personal data and the respective purposes.

With a focus on transparency in the processing of your personal data, Algar Tech has made the Data Subject Portal available so that you can exercise your rights under the LGPD by filling in the form available at this link.
Important
When you exercise your rights through this channel, we will collect your personal data for analysis, in view of the need to establish means of contact between the holder and the controller to exercise the rights listed in the General Data Protection Law.
The legal basis for this processing refers to compliance with the legal obligation.
After being forwarded, regardless of the right exercised, your data may remain retained with restricted and encrypted access, for auditing purposes by the National Data Protection Authority, verifying the effective fulfillment of your request or consultation by Algar Tech.
